We hope you, your family, and colleagues are staying safe and healthy during this unprecedented challenge posed by the coronavirus pandemic. and COVID-19 disease.
The Hashtag Sports team is actively monitoring the advice of public health officials and best practices laid out by the United States federal government including the CDC, the state of New York, New York City, and WHO.
Recognizing that Hashtag Sports must do its part to contribute toward the collective effort of COVID-19 containment and with the well-being of our attendees, partners, and speakers in mind, we are postponing Hashtag Sports 2020 until October 21-22.
As we mentioned in our initial postponement announcement last month, holding Hashtag Sports in the fall ensures the converging sports & entertainment industries are still provided with a vital knowledge-sharing and business development platform that many in the surrounding ecosystem rely on and presents an opportunity to explore the continuing impact of this global health crisis on sports media and fan engagement.
Additionally, we're excited to share plans to bring our virtual event series, Hashtag Sports LIVE, back to your mobile devices, tablets, and computer screens for the time since 2015. Mark your calendars for June 16-17 as we unleash a new virtual conference experience with unique programming and tailored networking. Although registration will be free for qualified industry professionals, Hashtag Sports 2020 conference ticket holders will receive special access to exclusive virtual content and networking experiences in appreciation of your continued support.
If you are a registered ticket holder, you do not need to take any further action—your pass will automatically remain valid for the rescheduled event this fall.
We sincerely appreciate your support. Together, we will rally and create a rising tide.
In the meantime, please reach out to us with specific questions, and we will do our best to help.
